Tips on Removing That Unwanted Facial Hair Naturally
There is a home remedy for just about everything these days and so I set out to search for some natural Facial Hair Removal Information. I have tried many of the chemical creams, gels and powders and most all of them irritated my skin, left ingrown hairs or made the area above my upper lip look like it had been attacked by a porcupine.
With a little online research I was able to come up with quite a few natural methods for removing facial hair that seemed so simple and inexpensive. I also found a few natural remedies for repairing the uncomfortable side effects related to hair removal systems.
Natural Options For Facial Hair Removal
- Shaving Hair Removal – of course I only recommend this method of facial hair removal for men – this method is not recommend for female facial hair. Shaving is a short term solution and probably more natural than any other method.
- Waxing Hair Removal – an inexpensive method to removal face hair but also commonly used for body hair removal as well. You can easily purchase the home waxing kits at most drug or cosmetic stores. Wax kits are available in hot or cold wax. There are a wide variety of waxing products that are Eco friendly and made with organic ingredients.
- Pluck Pluck Pluck – yes break out the tweezers. I recommend this natural method to those with only a few hairs to remove. Also the cheap dollar store tweezers do not work as well, save yourself some plucking pain and get a high-quality pair of tweezers.
- Facial Hair Threading – Not so common of a method but one of the most appealing to me. Cotton thread is used to pull the hair out by it’s roots and can be done at your favorite salon.
- Kalo supplements – the natural supplement has been shown to slow hair growth, hair becomes thinner and less noticeable
- Soy Soy Soy – yes the ever so popular soy bean. Soy contains phytoestrogen which discourages hair growth and slow the hair growth cycles. Consume soy products and you just might see a decrease in facial hair.

Some Tips For Relieving The Pain From Hair Removal
- Hydro-cortisone cream can soothe the irritated skin after a hair removal treatment
- Apply a lotion containing alpha-hydroxy acid after any treatment for hair removal, it exfoliates the skin which helped prevent ingrown hairs.
- When plucking with tweezers, use the index finger of your free hand to pull the skin tight in the opposite direction allowing the hair to pluck much easier.
