Is there really a Permanent Facial Hair Removal System?

So is there really a permanent system for removing facial hair? I have asked myself this question many times and if you looked in my medicine cabinet you would think no. I have tried every available hair removal product on the market today and although I did find temporary results sometimes the price or side effects was not worth it.

I have used many of the chemical creams and found some success with them but the burning or skin irritation was not worth the short term results. Then there’s the rotary coils  that sit nice and snug in my bathroom cupboard. One word comes to mind when I see these – OUCH!  These are somewhat like electric razors with fast spinning metal springs that  rip the hair right out.

And let’s not forget the wax treatment kits. With this method you apply the thick wax to your upper lip,  legs or whatever part of the body you are wanting to remove hair from. You then cover the wax with the cloth strip and RIP it away, the faster you rip,  the better, it lessens the pain!

Yes I have tried most everything in my quest to achieve permanent facial hair removal and nothing has given me the results I desired. So with some online research I have found a few more options that might hold promise for removing the unwanted hair above my lip or the uni-brow I pluck non-stop.

The first permanent hair removal procedure I looked into was laser hair removal. Laser treatment is common today but its not a permanent proof option. You would want to consider this method long-lasting but not permanent in most cases. The cost of laser hair removal is about $500 bucks per laser treatment. Not an option with my budget these days but again the results can be long-lasting.

The laser hair removal procedure is pretty basic, a solution is applied to the desired area, then with a hand held laser light the solution is heated and it destroys the hair follicle. This method must be administered by a licensed professional.

The second option – electrolysis. This one is as close to a permanent hair remover as you are going to get.  The electrolysis hair removal is a method of sending tiny little electrical shocks into each hair follicle through a needle and killing the hair root altogether.

The main drawback I found with this method of permanent hair removal is that this has to be done hair follicle by hair follicle.  Many visits over a long period of time will be required to get the results desired. It must also be noted there is some pain associated with this procedure as well.

I can easily assume electrolysis is not recommend for large areas of hair removal. This option would be great for small areas such as upper lip, brow, under arm and bikini lines.

The electrolysis hair removal method is also very pricey and time consuming but the results seem to be promising if a permanent facial hair removal system is what your looking for.
